I have been the Faculty Advisor for PSA since 2014. It is a proud and rewarding
experience to work with such amazing students who are enthusiastic for
advancing and sharing the field of psychology. All the students involved
with Psych Alliance promote a dizzying number of events throughout the
year. It is no wonder that PSA was recognized as the 2018 and 2019
Student Organization of the Year. We welcome any WCSU student to come join us

I have been the advisor for the WCSU chapter of Psi Chi since Fall 2014.
I earned my Ph.D. in Social-Personality Psychology from the University at
Buffalo, The State University of New York. My research focuses on adult
romantic relationships and the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning.
For example, I examine factors that influence people’s first impressions
of romantic partners. I have also examined strategies for improving the
quality of discussions both within the classroom and online. I teach
Introductory Psychology, Social Psychology, Psychology of Personality,
Advanced Personality-Social Psychology, and The Psychology of Close
Relationships.
